LRTTC is currently relocating its playing facility to the Jim Dailey Fitness & Aquatic Center (JDFAC), formerly War Memorial Fitness Center, at 300 South Monroe Street in Little Rock, between the Little Rock Zoo and War Memorial Stadium. The Center is a Little Rock Parks and Recreation facility.
Although our official start date is Tuesday, September 1, 2015, most of our equipment has been moved to JDFAC and we are currently playing there.
Playing times will remain mostly the same: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the Activity/Fitness Room at JDFAC. Play may be available later on Saturday and at other non-scheduled times. Everyone is welcome to go by and tour the facility during their operating hours.
Operating Hours for Jim Dailey Fitness & Aquatic Center:
Monday-Friday 5:30am - 9:00pm
Saturday 7:00am - 6:00pm
Sunday 1:00pm - 5:00pm
LRTTC will be using the Activity/Fitness Room on a regular basis, which allows for up to three tables with court sizes roughly 27 feet deep and 17 feet wide, with all of the tables using some shared space. We may have some overflow space into the large gymnasium, which will accommodate 9 tables with court sizes 32 feet deep and 18 feet wide.
Cost to play will stay about the same. LRTTC charges $5 per month for individual players. The JDFAC will charge $20 a month for a “table tennis only” membership. If you have a current $25 per month membership with LRTTC, then nothing will change. To play on a per-visit basis, JDFAC charges $5 per visit. The only difference for per-visit players is that they will pay a $5 monthly fee to LRTTC.
As an alternative to a "table tennis only" membership, players may become members of the JDFAC. The cost of an individual adult is $40 per month, payable to JDFAC (LRTTC would still charge $5 per month). Discounts are available for families, city and state employees, retired/disabled veterans, and other categories. The JDFAC membership allows players to play table tennis and to use the other fitness facilities and amenities.
If you want to continue your membership with LRTTC as it is now, you don’t need to do anything, just show up and play! If you decide to join the Jim Dailey Fitness & Aquatic Center, please let us know.
