Tournament Update as of Friday, December 4:

  • Junior Singles is cancelled
  • Women's Singles will be a 3-player round robin final.
  • Open Singles: round robin with 3 groups of 3, all players advancing to Divisions A, B, and C RR or SE depending on time.
  • Novice Singles:  round robin with 4 groups of 3, all players advancing to Divisions A, B, and C single elimination semis/final.
  • Open Singles and Novice singles will start around the same time, between 10:00am and 10:30am.
  • Open Doubles will be a 3-team round robin starting after lunch.

  • Set up, warm up, announcements
  • Random draw for door prize.
  • Start matches in Open Singles (2 tables in activity room) and Novice Singles (4 tables in gym)
  • Novice round robin finishes
  • 1 gym table will be used for finishing Open Singles round robin
  • Open Singles round robin groups should have finished their first 2 matches, with 1 set of matches left.  At this point, Open Singles will be using the 2 tables in activity room, and one table in the gym.
  • Novice players may have 30 minutes before their single elimination round.
  • Open Singles round robin is complete
  • Time used to create Novice draws for final single elimination round
  • Create final round robin draws for Open Singles.
  • Random draw for door prize.
  • Open Singles final stage round robin starts for Division A, B, and C with each division using 3 tables (A in the gym, B and C in the activity room).
  • Novice Singles final stage single elimination starts for Division A, B, and C with each division using 3 tables. (all divisions in the gym)
  • Open Singles and Novice Singles events will be complete.
  • Award Presentations and photos
  • Lunch
  • Women's final round robin (3 players)
  • Doubles final round robin (3 teams)
  • Random draw for door prize.
  • Women's and Doubles events are complete.
  • Award Presentations and photos
  • Take down and store equipment
  • Done.

Equipment & Facility

6 tables (4 ITTF-approved Giant Dragon K2008; 2 Stiga Prestige); Nittaku 3-Star Premium 40 mm orange celluloid balls; wood flooring; high ceilings; fluorescent lighting.


Primary clothing color must not be orange (the color of the ball).

Rules & Eligibility

All USA Table Tennis rules apply. Matches are best of 5 games. Games are played to 11 points. Players with ratings published by USATT or RatingsCentral.com may enter all events except Novice Singles. Players without ratings may enter all events. Non-members of JDFAC must pay admission: $5 for adults, $3.50 for juniors under 16, and $2 for spectators (FOI & LRTTC cover spectator fees for FOI & LRTTC members).

Most events will be round robin followed by either round robin or single elimination, depending on number of players and time available.

Register by Wednesday, December 2, 2015 by signing up on the tournament registration sheet at the JDFAC front desk or contact Mike Lauro at the email or phone listed above.


Players must report to control desk 30 minutes before event start time or risk default.


Sandwiches for lunch and sports drinks provided to participants.


Trophies for 1st and 2nd  places in all events.

LRTTC will contact you with confirmation of your registration.


When Do I Pay?

You may pay on the day of the tournament when you check in at the control desk no later than 30 minutes prior to your first event start time.  You may also pay Mike Lauro of LRTTC during any of our regular play times at JDFAC which are Tuesday/Thursday 6:00 - 8:30 pm, Saturday 1
